Grant support for advisory projects is provided by the EBRD and financed by donors. This support aims to enable small and medium-sized businesses that need professional knowledge and experience, to grow and become more competitive. The programme engages experienced external consultants to identify the needs and further development of a company.

The EBRD’s approach

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development aims to contribute to job creation, raising the level of qualifications of employees, increasing businesses production capacity, among others. These components directly affect the formation of an effective and stable business climate, as well as the development of technologies and local market as a whole.

To qualify for grant support, an enterprise should meet the following criteria

Maturity: in operation for more than 2 years on the market

Ownership: more than 50% of the company should be owned by local citizens

Size: from 10 to 500 employees

Integrity: reliable business reputation and high standards of integrity.

Business needs: there should be a sound need to engage a consultant
